What it does

Reel-quality turf, cut by three floating heads.

A rotary deck chops grass; a reel shears it, which is why every fairway and stadium surface worth the name is cut with cylinders. The GT7 is the reel flagship of PUDU's GT series: a 160 cm (62 in) triplex system in which three reel units float independently, each one following the ground beneath it so the height of cut stays consistent across crowns, hollows and cambered ovals. Height-of-cut adjustment is tool-free, so the crew can move it between surfaces without a workshop stop.

Navigation is AI-native rather than wire-and-guesswork: RTK positioning accurate to ±2.5 cm is fused with LiDAR, camera vision and depth sensing, so the mower maps the site autonomously, holds its lines pass after pass and steps around people, flags and equipment on the move. A manual drive mode covers loading, transport between surfaces and anything the schedule does not. Four-wheel drive takes it up slopes to 30°, which covers fairway banks, mound surrounds and the awkward ground a triplex operator would normally slow right down for.

The rest of the platform is built for commercial duty, not the back yard: an all-metal body on a commercial-grade steel chassis, IP66-rated protection against dust and water, and an emergency-stop within reach. It is fully electric with no combustion engine, quiet enough for early-morning runs near play and residences, which is exactly when WA turf needs cutting: before the first tee time, the first bell and the first booking.

We walk the site, check RTK coverage and slope zones, and confirm the remaining datasheet specifics for your quote. The GT7 then maps the site autonomously.

Cut

The GT7 mows each zone to schedule on RTK fused with LiDAR and camera vision, holding lines to ±2.5 cm and avoiding people and obstacles as it works.

Move

Manual drive mode covers loading, transport between surfaces and one-off jobs outside the mapped zones, with an emergency-stop always within reach.

PUDU launched the GT series globally in September 2026 at GaLaBau in Nuremberg, and the GT7 is its turf specialist: an AI-native platform that fuses RTK, LiDAR, camera vision and depth sensing rather than following a buried wire. For WA clubs and grounds teams the practical appeal is the same one driving our cleaning fleet: the most repetitive cut on the site runs to a fixed schedule, early and electric, while qualified staff spend their hours on the work robots cannot do.

Build quality reads commercial, not domestic: an all-metal body on a commercial-grade steel chassis, IP66-rated protection and an emergency-stop. Because the series is newly launched, we publish only what PUDU has published, and confirm the remaining specifications, battery, charge time and height-of-cut range, at the site survey against the current datasheet.

Service distance is the real spec. Perth Robots is an authorised PUDU reseller and service centre, already deploying and servicing PUDU robots across WA. The GT7 joins a landscaping fleet that also includes the FJ Dynamics units, so the recommendation is genuinely multi-OEM: reel or rotary, PUDU or FJD, whichever fits your turf. Survey, mapping, commissioning, training and parts all run from Perth.

The commercial terms carry across the range: Robot as a Service on a flat monthly subscription, outright purchase with an optional Care Plan, or a lease.
